Waterfalls

Månafossen, at around 92 m the tallest waterfall in Rogaland, drops near Frafjord and is reached by a moderate hiking trail through farmland and forest. It's the region's best-known waterfall hike outside the Lysefjord corridor, a half-day outing rather than the full-day commitment of Preikestolen or Kjeragbolten. Flow is heaviest during spring snowmelt and after autumn rain, thinner in a dry summer stretch.
