Sightseeing bus tours

Coach tours cover Stavanger's compact centre and, on longer routes, run out to Sandnes or along the Jæren coast without needing a hire car. They suit visitors short on time or unwilling to drive Rogaland's narrower rural roads, trading flexibility for a fixed route and schedule. Coverage is thinner than in a larger Norwegian city, since Stavanger's centre is walkable enough that many visitors skip a bus tour altogether.
