Preikestolen versus Kjeragbolten is the region's most-searched comparison: an 8 km, 4-5 hour trail with no technical difficulty against a longer, chain-secured route with real exposure and a seasonal road closure. A Lysefjord boat cruise versus hiking to one of the cliffs is the other common choice, trading the climb for a lower-effort view from the water.
