Fishing trips

Sea-fishing charters run out of Stavanger's harbour and smaller Ryfylke and Jæren ports, targeting cod, mackerel and other North Sea species on half-day and full-day trips. Gear is normally supplied, and no license is required for the recreational sea angling these trips offer. Trips depend on weather and sea state more than season, though summer and early autumn see the most departures.
